I think the silver calipers and dark finish wheels work the best with the pearl red. perhaps a silver/black interior with contrasting red stitching

The list is not good! I have pictures from a black LFA 001 in the netherlands!

I don't think that qualifies as saying "The list is not good"..

One possible error, if true is not too bad...

When we get confirmed Badge Number photos or info from a reliable source, we update the list...

#001 is currently just what figured it would be...

Any pics and info you provide is much appreciated.

It's a bit difficult to confirm LFA badge numbers, outside the US market..

Well it was or is believed to be part of Lexus Japan and/or the Toyota Museum in Japan

But my doubts might make light soon.
Since Toyota or Lexus wasn't supposed to keep any of the 500 units built..

Maybe the Red one pictured in the "Line Off" photo from December is unit # 000
or
Maybe it's #002

Car #1 is usually one of the two most valuable (first and last) and usually don't get driven a lot. If it's like Lamborghini on the SV, they would use a four digit number for factory cars not a part of the 350 they built, such as 0001, which didn't mean anything, other than it was a factory demo. Those cars were usually returned to the factory or resold with a new badge (1-350). Also, it's unclear if car numbers match VIN numbers. They don't with the SV and any buyer can select a number out of order. This is because completion sometimes happen out of order because of paint, etc.

Thanks for the objective evidence of 001

No shark fin, hooray.

Is it possible the car is on tour as opposed to going to a customer?

Side point, Gengar's car may be the first production LFA with alcantara seats as I do not believe I have seen these on any of the units photographed to date.

the car is already at his owner. This car is from the owner of toyota/lexus of the netherlands. this car is also not getting a numberplate. and it's realy gowing to a museum here.

and if some of you want to see more of this 001 i have mog pictures from it.
