Regular maintenance is needed regardless of a car's reliability.

With that said, I think the LFA will redefine reliability for supercars, and we'll only have proof of that in a few years when LFAs out there have many miles on them.

Also with regards to the brake job pricing, carbon ceramic rotors have a MUCH longer lifespan than steel rotors. So the price of an LFA brake job per mile actually comes out cheaper than the price for a GT-R brake job, or some other supercars. Any cars with steel rotors need brake jobs done more often than carbon ceramic rotors due to the shorter lifespan of steel rotors.

Maintenance shouldn't be too bad considering. Oil changes are only called for every 24months/6,000 miles. Or when the oil maintenance light comes on. Which ever comes first. Of course it depends on what it takes to make the light come on.

We use separate software for pricing. That hasn't been updated yet to include anything but a few exterior parts. I couldn't even imagine. They don't list the heads or pistons separate from the short block assembly. And Lexus doesn't sell a complete engine (just short blocks) for any of their cars.

I think Ferrari charges 2K for an oil change, and 5K for 30K service on the 458. I wonder what Lexus would charge?

yup, that's what i am interested in finding out. i don't know about 458, but on the 430 i think oil change is around 1000? (last i heard). if the lfa is like 700 bucks, it's not bad at all

I checked again. MSRP is $527.27 each. That could always change, but that's what it's showing right now. The rears are a little more at $660.34. If it makes you feel any better the axles are $13,900 each.

Thanks offroad
If you want to make yourself some easy money,
Order a set or ten
Someone screwed up when they input the rotor
Prices
If they fill the order put them in a safe place and
Wait for your jackpot
My understanding is the LFA rotors are highr spec
Than F uses an I believe a set of 4 F rotors is about $20k
