I like that wallpaper a lot as well, and trying the car configurator, some interesting color combos...
For what it's worth, and I suppose some only care about tenths, the Lexus USA site reports 0-60 mph in 3.6 sec.

Its beyond incredible this is a Lexus. Who would have thought this in 1989? In 1999? Even in 2008 there were doubts it was coming.

0-60 in UNDER 3.9 Seconds or better yet, 0-60 in more than 0.00001 Seconds.
It's a mid 3 second car zero to sixty. Who cares if it's one tenth or nine tenths off. The LFA is going to be fast enough....even faster than what most people can afford out there.

It's silly. When you have 0-60 times below 5 seconds, there are so many factors to be considered. And for a street legal, non AWD car to run below 4 seconds is just defying physics.
With these fast cars I think whats far more important is not whats the absolute best 0-60 time you can run, but how easily and consistently YOU, likely an average driver, can actually run times close to these reported by magazines and official manufacturers specs.
You could have cars like lets say Corvette ZR1 vs SL65 AMG. On paper the ZR1 is vastly faster, but thats if you the driver get a perfect launch, shift gears perfectly on time, every time. While in the SL, you just put it in "D" and mash the pedal, and let the electronics do its work, and nine times out of ten the SL will probably run faster.
If the LF-A engine, electronics and drivetrain allow an average driver to be able to make 0-60 runs at around 4 seconds, thats simply amazing.
