The super price market is funny, people are buying up Bentleys with no issue. Maybachs and RR is not doing as well. Ferrari and 911s over 100k will sell regardless.
You also have CL/SL 65s at $170k. Aston Martin is doing well.

Though I must say the new LS will help the LF-A. The new LS has done very well thus far.
I hope you're not forgetting Toyota's F1 effort. They started their team totally from scratch, and F1 incorporates substantial carbon fiber technology, so Toyota over the past few years has learned a lot about carbon fiber, more than you think .

The carbon fiber body rumours actually mentioned that Toyota would do the carbon fiber in-house, which makes sense seeing as they have some experience thanks to their F1 program.

I guess we will see in due time though. If most of the LF-A is done in-house, it would be a huge achievement for Toyota.

It seems to me that an extruded aluminum bonded chassis with carbon body panels would make sense. With all the Formula 1 efforts occuring in England and Lotus just down the road, maybe a UK sourced development and delivery program?
