1998 SC300 with 96K - Extra Clean
For Sale - 1998 Lexus SC300 with 96,xxx miles - $7,997
Two owner 1998 Lexus SC300 with only 96,xxx miles that is completely up to date with all of its services and ready for another 100,000 miles.
The first owner purchased this Lexus SC300 at Johnson Lexus of Raleigh in North Carolina in January 1998. She had the car routinely serviced at this dealership for the first three years and 28,500 miles. The service department was nice enough to give me dates and services they performed during the cars first three years. I recorded all of these as well as all of my services in a logbook that is included with the car. Once the car went out of warranty, I can only assume she continued to have it serviced, but there are no records.
In early 2015 the car was acquired by SeaSell Auto in Wilmington, NC from the first owner’s estate. I have now owned and serviced the car for the past three years. Below is a list of the major work that I have either done or had done during my ownership.
Oil Changes, Tire Balances, Tire Rotations as well as Alignments were done every 5,000 miles over the past three years.
The interior and the leather seats look like new! I have run power for a Garmin nuvi (Included for FREE) for a central mounted GPS. If you do not like this you can push the power cord such that you will not even know it was there. I have also wired two 12v power supplies in the armrest storage area.
This car looks and drives better than new.
I have taken plenty of detailed pictures, and put together one group picture of the only six defects with this car.
I am only selling the car since I decided the get a GS300 which has 4 doors with more room in the back seat, and I need another project.
You will look high and low to find any 1998 car that is this nice, let alone any Lexus SC300 in this condition.
I have this SC300’s CarFax that I obtained when I purchased the car in 2015, and an AutoCheck Vehicle Report that was run in April of 2018 available upon request.
You can send me messages via Private Message with your contact information if you want to talk with me about the car.
