$7,500
I wanted to keep this sale local, but if there's serious interest in the car, then I'm willing to sell out of state...
I'm basically looking to get $7,500 for the car. I am also willing to deliver within a 500 mile radius from me, Phoenix, AZ, at $1.50 a mile in addition to the price of the car. I have a truck a trailer for the job, but prefer not to make a super long distance trip.
Now also, if someone is serious about purchasing out of state, then I will post up SUPER DETAILED pictures of the whole car. I will also include a video which will include a walk-around and driving video.
I will make this as much of a transparent transaction as possible.
In the meantime, I'll list some of the flaws with the car right here and more below you'll see a full description of the vehicle and parts...
-Valve cover gaskets leak and creates a couple of drops of oil on the floor after driving it. I will probably have this fixed prior to the sale and change out the spark plugs at the same time.
-Volume **** on the radio is a bit worn out and sometimes won't register putting the volume up or down. Still works though, just a bit temperamental.
-You can see in the pictures that the lips on the wheels don't match. Previous owner spray painted them for whatever reason.
-Rock chips on the front
-Fender roll isn't perfect and paint chipped a little bit
-1 tear on the lumbar portion of the driver's seat
If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to reach out to me. Please, if you contact me, use my personal contact information and don't PM me on ClubLexus. I suck at replying at PM's.
Thanks,
-Joel

Up for sale is my 2002 Lexus IS300 original 5 speed with full black interior. The car has been very well maintained both aesthetically and mechanically. The car was purchased at an auction, but I am not a dealer. There is no sugar coating story here and the car can speak for itself. I'm a big Toyota guy, and you'll notice that with my other personal vehicles, and I'm not a novice when it comes to this drivetrain. The engine runs perfect without any hesitations, the transmission shifts perfectly in all gears at all RPM's, A/C and heater work great, no leaks, major mechanical components have been serviced, etc... Anyone looking for a clean 5 speed IS300, this would be a great base to start off of.
Details:
Clean Title
Passes emissions
2002 Lexus IS300
5 Speed W55 Transmission
Factory LSD
K&N air intake
K-Sport coilovers
Work Equip 3 piece 17" wheels with a step lip (Sorry, I'm unsure of size and offset)
Rolled fenders
Quick disconnect bumper releases front and back
TRD carbon fiber grill
Front lip
Red tinted tail lights
Custom exhaust (Sounds fantastic and isn't obnoxious)
170,000 miles
Timing belt (Gates) and water pump done at 163,000 miles
New A/C compressor at 163,000 miles
Full black leather interior
Pioneer double din DVD and Navigation Capable
Power everything
Traction control
Of course, the car isn't "mint". It has been driven and it will show with rock chips on bumper and hood and a small tear on the lumbar portion of the driver's seat (that's the only flaw with the interior). I've owned 3 IS300 5 speeds and this one has to be the cleanest one I've had.
I'm asking $8,200 OBO. I'm mainly looking for cash but will entertain trade offers. You can reach me at show contact info
Thanks,
-Joel

Here's a video of a take off and drive by. Mind you, this is only about half throttle. Didn't want to get too crazy on a residential area.
Also, one thing I forgot to mention in my previous post is that the brakes are starting to squeal. They don't vibrate, but the pads will be needing to be changed soon. You can hear it in the video.

I definitely will! Supposedly the buyer will be coming this Sunday. If things don't work out for whatever reason, then I'll definitely let you know. Good luck with your sale as well!
