Lexus IS300 5-Spd
2002 Lexus IS300: 5-speed manual transmission, Granite Graphite Pearl, with new 18" wheels and tires. 134,000 miles. Hard to find combination.
I am selling my beloved 2002 IS300 with a clean title as it is time to get bigger vehicle due to arrival of first child (just acquired a 2009 Lexus GS450h). All aspects of the car, including electronic amenities, mechanical, etc are in excellent working condition; many parts recently replaced and vehicle is ready to go; car needs nothing (more details below). I have owned the car since March 2004, meticulously maintained it over the years and have all service history. I would challenge one to find an IS300 of any year in better overall condition on the inside and out than this vehicle. Vehicle has been "waxed" at least quarterly with Zaino Show Car polish; paint sparkles and maintains deep wet look. No rock chips on hood or bumper and car is always garaged both at night and during work at day (work from home). This car looks as good as the day it came off the lot. This car has never been raced or abused, but instead owned by non-smoker, car enthusiast and detailing fanatic. Must see to fully appreciate, but pictures serve it pretty well also.
FEATURES:
Granite Graphite Pearl exterior (charcoal grey metallic paint); Black Leather and Alcantara (suede) interior
3.0 L 2JZ-GE inline 6 cylinder (I6) engine runs perfectly and produces 215hp
5-speed manual transmission
Limited Slip Differential
Heated front seats
Auto HID Headlamps and fog lights w/ self-leveling
Rear spoiler factory installed option
Power mirrors, door locks, moon(sun) roof, windows, etc (everything is power)
6-disk CD changer in-dash
Keyless entry
Full-size 17" factory OEM Alloy wheel spare tire
Auto-dimming mirrors w/digital compass
HomeLink System
Automatic Climate Control
6 airbags including side curtain, etc. . .
Other non-standard features include:
18" Elbrus 5-star wheels w/ Continental DWS tires effectively brand new (purchased less than 5k ago from TireRack; wheels are coated with "ice shield" so that they can be used year-round including on salty roads)
iPod/phone integration by Grom Audio (controlled by factory stereo and shows as accessed via CD2)
Adjustable stiffness Tokiko Struts/Shocks (replaced factory shocks in 2010)
Recently Completed Maintenance Items:
Full clutch replacement, including master cylinder, throw-out bearings and related hardware (5k miles ago)
New tires / wheels (less than 5k miles since installation)
New OEM spark plugs (January 2012 w/ less than 10k miles since replacement)
New Brakes & Rotors on all 4 corners (spring 2012)
New hydraulic belt tensioner and serpentine belt (fall 2012)
New Battery (December 2012)
I've tried to be comprehensive in my list of the car's features and maintenance completed. Timing belt and water pump were both replaced on schedule by Lexus of Dublin at 90,000 miles; timing belt not scheduled to be replaced again until 180,000.
Please contact me (phone or email) with questions, or to schedule a time to come and test drive the vehicle.
Asking $9,875; may consider reasonable offer
