I have a 1995 Lexus SC400. The ODO is showing 348K. The car is in poor shape to me but would make great first time poors man SC, who would like to fix some things on it. The reason I am selling it is because my stepson went over his internet usage on his plan, so now our cell phones has been cut off. I am selling his car to pay for the 1K phone bill and to prove a point and a lesson learned. The car needs a few things, but what I am asking is nothing to what it can be repaired for. The car needs a rack and pinion, struts, rear brakes (which I have new rotors and pads). The tilt, cruise, heated seats, ac only in high mode, and everything else works, except the Nak radio, passenger side window and seat, hood struts, deck lid struts, and driver side mirror. It has some dents and scratches, but would make a perfect father and son car. The car starts ups and runs every time. The motor has been replaced approx. 30K miles ago. I dont know if any service was done before the car, like plugs, wires, caps, rotor buttons, timing belt, etc. It has always started and ran for him to work and school, so I never checked them. The check engine light and trac lights, airbag, are on, I believe the MAF is bad, and possibly front 02 sensors. The battery has been replaced approx. 6 months ago and has Michelin tires all the way around. I have fixed the backlighting in the cluster, exhaust, tilt steering, and the brake booster. I didnt want to spend alot of money on his car. If this car is not sold in a few days, I will part it out, more than likely. Seeing how no one is remotely interested in this fine automobile, I have chosen to close the thread and sell it locally.
