For those that are wondering about the 4 owners, the first 2 were husband / wife - the husband passed away and the title was transferred to his wife. A family friend then bought the car and subsequently had to sell it to pay for a truck for their son (who unexpectedly met the grade requirements his parents set for him!). I'm the 4th and I didn't realize how much crap you have to carry around for twin boys!

Most forums are ruthless when it comes to selling your car, everyone wants you to give them the car and only after 1000 questions, emails and texts they still do not buy. You will most likely have a better chance on craigslist or maybe put a sign in the back windw ;-) Beautiful car....Good luck with your sale.

Slider13. Thanks for your input. I have it on Autotrader, Cars.com, and CL...but I think the 4 owners is really turning people away. My last attempt will be parking it outside somewhere, but I really don't want to subject it to the Texas heat :-). Whoever buys it will be getting a really nice car.

It's probably also because it's a V8, at this time many people are going toward gas efficiency. Looks good that you have ALL of the original keys, that's a major + in my book

I am now wondering if I drive it as a 3rd car for another year, maybe it'll have more chances at passing as a true 4 owner vehicle...rather than people thinking why is this guy selling it after owning it for such a short while. Since the timing belt is not due for another 2 years, it won't be that expensive to keep around.

$19,300. Honestly, I think I could've gotten $21,000 from the same gentlemen had he seen my ad 2 months ago. He was looking at cars in the San Antonio area similar to mine, but priced $5k more. This was exactly what he wanted (black with chrome wheels - and he told me that as he stepped out of his car! ) so I knew I wouldn't have to haggle with him. It's all about luck and waiting for the right buyer. Unlike most potential buyers on this forum, he wasn't interested in flying anywhere in the country, so his options were limited. Advantage me!
