I say keep the FJ. You need that in MD.
Has she tried the RX? maybe GX? Mini isn't good strong enough in the event of collision. I wouldn't risk getting a Mini in MD. Maybe ES or GS at least if she's going with sedan only.

Many beaches...and many camping/fishing trips. But I don't beat on it...I go easy...I live in the woods with loooooooong driveway on a hill. Its great in the snow and mud with the locking rear diff.
I had it on the dyno 2 yrs ago...its pushing about 300 hp at the wheels...and about 300 torque

Sell the F, soup up the FJ some more and get a nice IS250 awd for the little lady.
