Rare 1997 lexus sc300 5speed manual transmission black on tan $7500 obo
Hate to do this but I believe it might be finally time. Asking $6,800 but consider all cash offers. (no trades)
Rare Black Manual Transmission 1997 SC 300. 117K MILES ONLY 120 PRODUCED according to multiple websites.
***!!!! please note I bought this with a rebuilt title from Oklahoma. Look at the pictures from shutterfly and you will know why I'm not going to take any ridiculously low offer but consider any resonable one. I see love this car and don't mind keeping it. I repainted the car 3 years ago. The hood and bumper around 1yr ago however someone backed into my car two weeks after getting the bumper repainted. (See photo) I also scapped the back wheel panel. (See photo) ****!!!!!

Last year manual transmission vehicles were produced. Black on Tan interior; only 120 made. Took me over a year to find in 2004 and I never found this combination again since I owned the vehicle.
Extremely clean. All OEM parts besides upgraded brakes. Asking for full market price but considering the money I invested in the vehicle I'm not going to bargain much.
Serviced at Lexus of Pleasanton and Serramonte, records available at dealer and I have most hard copies (spent over 5K in service to get it back to factory specs during my six year of ownership)
I paid for most of maintenance, drive worry free. ** for two times I had to turn the key twice before it starts, I will check on this and fix before the sale **
- Replaced motor and transmission mounts
- Replaced lower control arm bushing using (vlamos bushings, pure rubber bushing not cheap aftermarket)
- Replaced O2 sensor
- Replaced Timing Belt
- Replaced Serpentine Belt
New OEM factory shocks and springs (less than 1 year 5,000 miles)
Upgraded steel brake lines and akebono ceramic brake pads
Upgraded cross drilled and slotted rotors
New OEM factory wiper blades (less than 5 months)
Diamond Audio Speakers (best high end speaker in factory size I can find)
Gold Die Hard Battery and new terminals <6 months
Michellin Tires 75% or more tread
K&N air filter but retains OEM air box (filter only)
PIAA bulbs, I also have two additional sets that I will include as I will have no use for them. Each set ran me about $50 which was because I bought multiple.
Upgraded to factory year 99 3 spoke steering column
Pampered and taken care of since I took delivery in 2004. Driven only about 5K miles annually; always garaged.
Photos will be up shortly. Email if you want specific photos or a time to see and test drive the vehicle.

I'm so glad people still love this car but it also makes cringe and sad that it appears I might lose this car sooner than I thought. I will try to get picture up by Sunday as I want to show this vehicle to people on Saturday and hopefully get it serviced as well.

I personally haven't gotten to any accident other than my parking mishaps. I did repaint the vehicle about 3 years ago since it was getting oxidized in certain areas after getting the car detailed multiple times. The paint job was done by someone I knew for just under two grand. I would say it the paint is good not great. I think that's the orange peels. A real prestine paint job when I was shopping should be around 3-4 to get it perfect which I was not willing to pay. I honestly don't know what kind of prior accident it had. I speculated this with dealer and mechanics for the past six years. Sorry I don't have any more info.

when i heard/saw that it was salvaged/rebuilt title that was a heart breaker!
i think it was a rear end accident of the front? the airbags looks deployed (still work?). the hood/fender and front bumper doesn't line up quite perfectly (like stock). the paint or orange peel i'm not really too concerned of, not even the scratches and dings.
none the less, the car is rare and pretty sweet! did you get the starter issue fixed? thanks for being up front about the car eugene! seem like a great seller!
