FS/FT: 92 SC400 1jzgte VVTi/5spd black/tan
hello everyone
i'm located in Nashville, TN
car has ~180k miles
black w/ tan interior
NEW PRICE 12/1/10 $7000
i have decided to sell my 92 SC400, into which i did a 1jz VVTI / w58 swap.
this is apparently a very difficult swap because the information is hard to come by.
but i have the information and i am awesome.
chaser 1jzGTE VVTi engine purchased from JDMenginedepot:
--2jzGE oil pan, drilled for turbo oil drain
--brand new OEM motor mounts
--modded/extended chaser wiring harness done by me (beautiful and clean)
5spd swap included the following:
ALL NEW OEM 5spd parts
--driftmotion 5spd pedal set
--new clutch slave
--new clutch master
--new stock clutch/throwout beating/pilot bearing
--new clutch line
--new 5spd shifter surround/boot
perfect condition mk4 W58 (external tripod style shifter)
TOYOTA RED COOLANT USED ONLY
BRAND NEW DENSO A/C COMPRESSOR
new supra aluminum radiator
new supra FMIC kit (tube / fin)
dual flexalite fans w/ custom 180* thermoswitch and relay
optima red top battery
OLT "32" gauge cluster (white w/ red needles -looks great)
functional COLD A/C
350z '03-04 touring wheels (18x8 w/ new'ish KDW2 tires)
stock sc400 catback exhaust
NEW brake pads/rotors in the front. rears are fine
NEW OEM MAF sensor
NEW OEM igniter
custom 2.5" full stainless downpipe that i had to pay 425$ for
5000k HIDs in the stock projectors
i dyno'd the car @ Carma Performance on their Dyno Dynamics heart breaker dyno in Nashville, TN and it made 255whp@10psi with the stock exhaust and it was 100* outside:
this would be nearly 300whp on a dynojet... at stock boost with the stock exhaust... and check out the torque curve. the vvti and instant-spooling turbo make this thing really awesome.
good stuff:

it's my daily driver
AC works and is cold
turbo boosts INSTANTLY and it is lots of fun to drive
i spent lots of time making this swap very clean and nice
this is the quietest and healthiest engine i have worked on.
--it is so quiet you cannot even hear the engine running with the hood shut and the e-fan off
--but the stock catback opens up and actually sound good when you get on it
--this car is quieter than brand new cars.
stock stereo headunit gutted and put back in the stock location (looks stock, but is just the 'faceplate' if you will)
--i hooked up an aftermarket amp straight to the speakers and i have an ipod cable coming out of the stock stereo headunit so it looks stock but you just use your ipod or mp3 player.
bad stuff:
EDIT: TACH IS FIXED
interior is decent
--missing front speaker grills
--passenger seat isnt in good shape
--drivers seat has one small tear in the middle of the seat back, otherwise in great shape.
--carpet isn't great, but can be cleaned up quite a bit.
cruise control isnt working at the moment only because i can't locate a supraTT cruise control cable.
i will take pictures of this stuff upon request.
basically, this car is perfectly sorted out

GAH! I think I might have to kill you. I can vouch for this car 100%. This car was done so well, I know it has to be the best swap ive seen. So clean. I am honestly really sad youre getting rid of it. I love this car and really wouldnt mind having it. Your A/c is cold as ***** too! GLWS Jacob....even though I dont want it to sell

and what parts are u looking for also ill take what ever info that u have i think you should keep ur car u are 1 of the few poineers that have done the swap vids before u sale it please

umm if you didn't know anything about cars, you wouldn't know this car had an engine swap.
it idles perfectly, it's quiet, it's smooth, and it has 300hp.
