Decided to sell my 98 GS300 with only 56k miles on it
The time has come to sell my mint condition 1998 Lexus GS300, with only 56k miles. I'm the second owner this is a Florida car no rust only been in Chicago for 3 years, about as mint as a 98 model can get.
Options:
full power: windows, doors, trunk, seats, steering wheel
Extra options:
Nakimichi stero sounds incredible
Xenon self leveling lights yes they had this in 98!
Sunroof
6 disc CD changer in glove box
VSC vehicle stability control
2 buttons for snow and performance on the transmission
remote entry
only option it doesn't have is heated seats remember it was a Florida car
New battery
new rear rotors and brake pads
synthetic oil changes with quality filters done by me
Tires are in great shape 2 are new
newish air filter and fuel injectors cleaned
car runs great no issues does not leak or burn any fluids.
Ac is ice cold heat is hot and everything works on the car.
At 56k it is just being broken in, these motors can run past 300k bullet proof drive-train inline 6 cylinder with VVT-I.
98 was the 1st year of the new body style 98-04 are the same cars.
1st year for the 5 speed transmission
1st year of the VVT-i motor
1st year of factory Xenon lights
Private seller looking for a honest buyer, no games or gimmicks...
clean title and clean carfax all vin tags are on the major body panels.
have 2 keys
Title on hand
Manuals
Lock for wheels
jack, spare, first aid kit are all in place
Here is your chance to buy a $46k car for 1/4 the price and at only 56k It has many more years to go. Lexus are built like tanks, and with the best parts in the industry, that is why they last forever. This is the one of the lowest mileage 98 GS300s around, I looked all over the web and found very few with these low miles on it. With a set of snow tires and traction control plus VSC you can drive this year round if you wish.
Never modded or messed with.
The pics speak for themselves... I can take more later on but for now you can get the gist of the car.

Thanks the prices are all over the place for the GS, trying to see what a fair price would be, I know taking it carmax would not get me much from what I hear about carmax offers. I picked up a 07 Mazda5 and need to move this one quick. It is not a Lexus however it it quite fun to drive the handling is amazing for a van type car.

good luck with your sale! unfortunately, you are going to find out that this is not a good time to sell cars without a price discount - no matter how low mileage or good condition it is. i've found the very fact that these cars can goto 300k+ miles easy works against low mileage Lexus rather than help it. i feel just as comfortable buyin it with 80-90k on the odo as long as the major maintenances are done.
