1997 Sc300 Turbo 5speed For Sale Birmingham AL
304 RWHP 2JZ-GE
For Sale is a 1997 Lexus SC300 Turbo RARE 5-speed. At 8 PSI the car is putting down 304 HP to the wheels (approximately 357 at the crank). For those who don’t know this car comes factory with the Supra 2JZ motor, which is known for its high horse power potential and reliability. A compression test was done before the turbo install and the numbers where even across all cylinders. The turbo, and all motor work was done locally by professional installers. The car has a PT-51 Turbo, which is capable of 500 Hp. The Turbo kit has been on the car for approximately 2000 miles, and the clutch only has 937 miles on it. I’m running the car at only 8psi because I never got a boost controller, it is capable of far more. It has never been above 8psi, which is very low for this car and turbo setup. The car has all new tires with less than 10 miles on them. The car has been dynod and tuned for maximum reliability and drivability, and is in Excellent running condition. The car has been well maintained; oil has been changed every 3000 miles and is running full synthetic. The only thing the car needs is a replacement High pressure Power Steering Hose which has a very slow leak. The power steering DOES work. You just need to refill it every couple of weeks or so because of the leak or you can just replace it. The overall paint is in Good condition, although the front bumper could use a repaint due to numerous chip marks. This car is great if you want a reliable everyday driver or if you want to make it into a High Horsepower monster. The Modifications are as follows:
