Can you believe that after all the hard work putting in a new starter my gf is complaining the car is too big for her to park? DOH! I mean I understand she just got her license, but it sucks that all the hard work I put into this when I could have been prepping the IS300 for this spring. Granted we didnt buy this car...... Her father actually just gave it to her to drive upon passing the road test.
Car is a NYS Salvage rebuilt title. ( car was bought hit in front in 2001)
1991 LS400
Black with Tan interior (front seats are worn - back is pretty damn clean)
146K miles (father in-law did timing belt done at 122K)
Pioneer 6-disc CD Changer
New Starter
basically a clean daily driver car
Everything works..... (including A/C, sunroof, and all power accessories)
Quirks -
LCD's are shot on Radio and Climate Control (but they still work)
Grill could be replaced (bent in a corner)
Typical scratches and dings for a 1990 - nothing drastic
We have TONS of spare parts from the 1992 and 1993 cars her father bought to fix this car.
Extra Doors, trunk, misc electrical parts, an entire engine and Tranny. all kinda stuff you could take off other cars to keep before junking the shell.
I would like to get $3500 for this car to put towards the down payment of a smaller car that she can handle.
for $5500 I will give you everything in the world that we have that is LS400 related!!!
I would love to keep this car for myself as it drives PIMP (as most of you all know already) Except this will be car #3 for me if i choose to do so. (so that is out of the question)
