Coming Soon: New Lexus Sport Models
After taking away Toyota Formula 1- Toyota started a new program, Sport Vehicle Development !
although this is an entirely NEW Toyota Division- Lexus brand has a direct subset.
So expect more F models, probably in all the lines and of course more sport accessories.
Happy New Year !!

under the original factory designation prior to LF-A and LFA, this was supposed to be the new Supra....
the IS-F 5.0 was the designated engine and a 3.5 was the base engine, this was to conform to JGTC (the SC was used instead)
anticipating wins in F1 and at the same time burnish the Lexus image in Europe- the concept evolved into a more exotic level- a "halo" supercar
to avoid a disappointing market perception (McLaren SLR) it was decided to limit production at 500 (an achievable sales number)
similar to the introduction of the 2000GT- LXA was priced at 3X the most expensive current Toyota/Lexus- a big jump in extending the market offering
the LFA pricing guarantees a NEW Supra- albeit using less exotic manufacturing materials and assembly methods
competition plans for the LFA is taken into consideration in the allotment of the units to some possible competitors
