It looks like the official reveal has been pushed to the Tokyo Auto Salon 2027 due to a structural defect in the aluminum base frame joint. As a result, production has been delayed by a full year. Fantastic just what we needed!
Get it right vs get it fast.
This bad boy will likely be in the $500k range putting it in Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren supercar territory. If it can deliver 80% of their performance and retain 100% Lexus reliability... it's a winner in most circles.

I don’t think Lexus will make the mistake of pricing this car above the LFA. When you look at the LFA’s manufacturing process, it’s truly mind-blowing — and it quickly becomes clear why that car ended up costing so much.Originally Posted by unc879wins

My guess is this new model will start around $180K–$210K, and top out near $250K fully loaded.

Here is a summary of what’s happening across Toyota’s performance and luxury divisions:Originally Posted by 355F1

👇
- Century is being positioned as a new ultra-luxury marque above Lexus, serving as Toyota’s top-tier brand.
- GR (Gazoo Racing) is being spun off as its own dedicated performance brand, encompassing all high-performance vehicles.
- The upcoming super car will belong to the GR brand, not Lexus, but will still be sold through Lexus dealerships.
- Lexus “F” performance division is being discontinued, though F Sport packages will continue as appearance and sport handling trims within the regular Lexus lineup.
- Lexus at some point in the future will also add a new grand touring coupe to its lineup which will be a replacement for the LC/RC models, drawing design inspiration from The Lexus Sport Concept, which debuted at The Quail, in Carmel, California.
- The new GR super car will be reveled on Dec 5th and a full reveal at 2026 Tokyo Auto Saloon

So I assume we've all seen the GR GT by now. I forgot to post this here, for anyone who hasn't watched this. I had a chat with a fellow enthusiast who owned 2 LC500's and has been eagerly waiting for the unveil of the LFR - now GR GT. We discuss several topics on the upcoming model, including pricing, brand strategy and more. Enjoy!

It’s not a successor to the LFA. It is a distinct vehicle born from racing as the GR GT3 will compete worldwide technically replacing the RC F’s role.
In a world where coupes die, it’s great to see it and I can’t wait to share more.
