Yamaha Damper & Torsen Standard on 2021 convertible?
Hi everyone, I'm looking at a CPO 2021 convertible, and I was under the impression that the Yamaha damper and Torsen were standard on these, but I don't see it listed on the original window sticker. If they weren't standard, is it possible to install them after the fact?

highly doubt it for the damper as there's probably mount points missing, but i'm not an expert. torsen maybe, but that's gonna cost you a load more than the option does.
Almost...except the one I'm looking at. Whoever configured it picked some strange stuff: it has the 20" wheels, head up display, carbon scuff plates, touring package, floor liners and trunk mat. Why would you not add the Torsen and Yamaha? Argh. Anyway, can they be added after the fact? It's perfect other than that.

Sorry I hit "send" right as your reply came through. That's a bummer. Going to drive it first, see how I feel about the handling, and contact the dealer to see if it can be installed after the fact if I feel it needs it.
i know the force to buy is strong, but i recommend you find one the way you want it.
Thanks: the main selling points for me are the engine noise, looks, comfort and interior. Like I said, otherwise it's configured exactly the way I'd have it. I have an Alfa 4C for track days and the twisties, so I think it'll be totally fine. Just a bizarre way to configure the car, especially since as you said the upgrades are only ~$400. Oh well...

Most people do not pick their Lexus options. You get whatever the dealer gets.
For the record, when I was looking to buy I saw 1 vert without the Yamaha/Torsen option and it was at a San Diego dealer.
It's not on the window sticker, so I'm guessing it just wasn't included in the build. I emailed Lexus with the VIN but they gave me a useless answer. Dealer doesn't know anything other than what the sticker says.

$460 is when you are spec the car from built, if you want to add on now, remember the labor cost will be some hundred more.

if not in the window sticker then the car obvious does not have it.
