Display unit reboots after quick stop

I have a 2015 RC350 F-Sport. My display unit (nav/radio) works fine every morning before work and evening after work. However, when I make a quick stop for gas and turn the car back on, the system goes into a reboot cycle. It starts up and displays the map for about 2 minutes then reboots. During this cycle there is no radio and clicking menu items are very slow. After the car is off for like 5-6 hours then the display unit works again. It's almost like the car needs to cool down or something. This is repeatable and happens all the time. I've tried unplugging the battery and mico-sd card to no avail. While there are several threads/posts about display units restarting, I've only read one other post that has the same issue as my car. Does anyone have any ideas on how I might fix this? Thanks...
