I'm about to swap out the standard stereo (non-Nav, not Levinson audio) in my 2012 ES350 for an aftermarket Sony AX1000 (yes, I found one despite the supply chain madness). I want to maintain the USB connection in the console, but I'm having a hard time establishing what the OEM connector for it is in the dash and whether there's an off the shelf adapter to connect to it. There are several versions of this OEM-to-USB adapter out there, but the web documentation all indicates they only work with 2013 and up ES350's:
Anybody tried one of these with the console wire for a 2012, or if not, do you know the details of the OEM USB connector on the stock deck and if there's an adapter available? The OEM stereo in this case is is the Toyota 86120-33E40, aka Pioneer P1869.
EDIT: Well, at least as far as I'm concerned you can disregard this question... the Sony deck does not actually have a rear USB port, making this question a moot point. So as Emily Litella would say, "Never mind!"
Thanks much...
