Does anyone know of an interface So I can use the originial Controls?

If not, what experience have people had with modulators? where was unit installed?

I have an SC4 as well, but my Audiovox Shuttle has not yet arrived, so I don't have any install specifics for you yet. The only "interface" I know of is tapping into the CD input, but you would still need the satellite head unit to change stations. Most of the "Blitzsafe" type interfaces work (when they work) on newer Lexi than ours.
