Default aftermarket alternator for GS

Does anyone make an aftermarket alternator for a 2000 GS400
I think mine is on the fritz

You can always get your current one upgraded for more amps. I know a good place in CA that turned my amp from 100 to 180. The guy is an ex USAC finalist and now makes alternators for limo stretches. All Image Dynamics demo cars have alternators done by him. I have his number somewhere.

My problem is I am not in califORNIA

Lexus will replace it under warranty
I doubt they would let me ship it to upgrade it

There are a lot of different options, it just depends on what you want to do. You could get you factory alt. rewound or just buy a new one. Companies like Stinger make them also, Im sure there are alternator shops in MD, or even a Tweeter could do it if you dont want to ship it.
