I have a 94' Lexus ES300. when i bought it in 97' the dealer told me that i had nakamachi sound. on the system it just says LEXUS PREMIUM SOUND. i was wondering if it is really nakamachi. thnx for ur feedback

 

sorry ,es300 never came with nakamichi til 1998 model year. also hard to retrofit a 94 with another lexus nak system due to wiring and dash configuration. the 92 to 96 es300 werent wired for subwoofer so only had 4 channell amps not 5 channel like all the other lexus models.

 

i bought the car with an intention of it have nakamachi audio. do u have any idea what brand the 94 es had

 

all components to the 94 es300 lexus premium sound system were made by pioneer. on the cassette flap door the id number is p6804. the "p" stands for pioneer. if it was nakamichi the id number would start with an "n "and it would say nakamichi in gold lettering under the lexus premium sound system . so both the pioneer systems and the nakamichi systems both say lexus pr3emium sound system. but again they never made a nakamichi system in a es300 from 92 to 96 and the first year of 2nd generation glovebox changer.

its really ok. in my 94' es300 the pioneer speakers are really good. i dont even think about putting up the volume more than 1/4th of the way. at that level my ears alredy start bursting. u have any idea how good mark levinson is in the 2003/2004 ES330, LS430.
