My sons 92 has a blown speaker. Anyone know of a reasonable replacement. Also what year 400's use the same speaker as I may have a better chance of obtaining one from the boneyard.?

 

You're better off posting in the LS400 forum or audio/electronics forum.

The 1990-1992 subwoofer is 8". Any model on any year later is a 10" subwoofer.

 

The speakers in the doors are all 4". Just go buy a pair of 4" speakers and swap the old ones out. But don't replace just one speaker, it will sound horrible, do either both fronts or both rears.

If it's the sub that has blown then don't bother with a junkyard, if you even found a sub chances are it will be in poor condition. If it's the sub, do a forum search, it has been discussed many many times.
