Going all in:
Greetings all,
I am planning on ripping out all of my factory sound system and starting over. Frankly, compared to a properly done SQ/SQL system, the factory stuff sounds like ***.
Head unit: Kenwood or Alpine unit with iPhone/iPod control.
Mids/Highs: B2 Audio Audiophile series drivers
Subs: B2 Audio HN(x) 12" subwoofers
Sub Amp: B2 Zero7.R Amplifier
Mids/Highs amp: B2 M1000.4 Amplifier.
Digital processing/Time Alignment/EQ: B2 Audio SIEO
Power Supply:
Alternator: 320 Amp Mechman
Wires: 00ga power cable and two 0ga ground lines from the front battery to the rear batteries
Batteries: 2-XSPower 3500cca and 3-XSPower 900cca batteries
Connections: SMD Gear
Sound deadening handled with Hushmat with complete coverage.
Subs are going to fire through the rear seat with an 8" aeroport firing up through the factory 10" sub hole. I will have .75" plexi in the back of the sub box with LED's to show off the subs and amps.

Rear Deck 90% done.
Putting in work. I had the back deck cover off so I could install the port and get everything Hushmatted. Today, I Hushmatted the cover, added some Luxury Liner to the speaker grill assembly so it won't buzz from the bass coming through and then reinstalled the cover. It looks like nothing aftermarket is going on.
All the holes are covered and about 95% covering all around. Next step is install a board which
covers the hole between the trunk and the back seat with an opening for the two 12" subs to fire through.
Then install the box and lock it down. Finally, Hushmat the remainder to completely seal the trunk off
from the bass and reinstall the rear seat.
The Hushmat basically doubled the weight of the deck cover. No buzzes now.
