Couple Bluetooth Questions
Hi, I have a couple Bluetooth questions, hoping people on here know the solution too...

1) I think if you plug your phone in via AUX Cable it will pipe the sound.
2) Are there multiple numbers for Andrew John? "Pick the number of the person sounds strange. Just to clarify, the system presents different people after it recognized the name? "Pick the number of the person you want to call?" Andrew John - ######## Mike Jacob - ######## Don Clary - ######## A |

Hi, thanks for the advice on number 1, I will try it. 2. Right, it will say, call "Andrew john" and I will say yes, then it presents me with names that have nothing to do with "Andrew"... I had this in my 2015 too, drives me crazy.

Pretty much everyone. I asked the dealer and they told me to have the radio learn my voice, which I did.....
I will check out the system when I go to work next week. I have access to all the Head Units. (I don't think it has anything to do with the system learning your voice) |

It's a 2016 ES350. Thanks so much
I checked this out. This is an HMI problem from the Tier-1 Supplier. I have reported the problem to the office that controls the Lexus infotainment Specs and they will reach out to the Tier-1 about further investigation. This is not an issue with the Voice Recognition Vendor as their capability extends way past this. (meaning, the issue is very fixable, because its just a software tweak) In the meantime, try one of the following; 1) Assign a nick name to the contact on your phone. Then try the Voice Command again using the nick name. This may be accepted and bypass the issue. 2) Assign a company name and say "call Andrew James from [Company Name] 3) Change his name slightly. Maybe try Drew James. Hope this helps! Good Luck |
