USB music question
I have a 64 gig sandisk cruzer loaded with WAV music files but, for whatever reason, my 2015 ES350 keeps telling me there are no files on it. Trust me, they're there. I just plugged in into my PC and the music files played effortlessly.
I read the Lexus manual and they mention that I need to choose USB1 or USB2, but I don't see a choice, only a plain USB. The light on the USP thumb drive is on when it's plugged in, so it's getting power, but my audio system refuses to recognize it. I did pull it from one port and stuck in the other one but keep getting the same error...over and over again.
I had no trouble playing from the USB in my BMW (a 2011 that I sold in order to buy this Lexus) and this really annoys me as I hate having a bunch of CDs in the car.
I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.
Thanks!

Your radio can't play wave files. Post number 3 of https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es-...lay-music.html

Convert the WAV to FLAC, 16bit 44kHz (CD quality) or less. Not only will they play, there will be no audio quality loss, and FLAC can contain metadata (song titles, cover art, etc). However, use a Windows PC because a Mac adds a bunch of junk files that complicates playing.
Option #2: Get an old iPod off eBay (80-160Gig for $50 or less-ish) and store in Apple Lossless format. The iPod will process the hifi audio files better than your radio.
