Intermittent Sound from stereo
Hi,
I have a 2006 Lexus GS300 with Navigation and the stereo was working fine-radio, Bluetooth phone calls, CD. I recently tried to use a cassette adapter to use my phone, and I started getting an intermittent sound from the stereo as if it was a record skipping. I figured the tape deck was faulty so I went back to FM and then tried CD and they had the same problem. It seems that this only happens when I am moving- when I'm sitting in a parking lot the radio sound is fine. Once I start to drive it gets that record skipping sound. If I am cruising it's still intermittent, but not as bad as when I hit the brakes. From some of the forums I have read it seems like this could be loose wiring in the head unit, but I wanted to see if this could be another problem before I take it apart. Thank you in advance for your help.
