Advise on GS300 2001 aftermarket Sub, amp set up using OEM deck/head-unit.
I was looking around on Amazon & I found
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001JECAM2...XZ2PSGDL&psc=1
I am having issues finding a decent price AMP that would make these sounds great! I came up with this one https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-Gm-D9.../dp/B00CLFM596 wanted to know your thoughts on how this would work It is not a dual channel but I believe i would just run extra wire to bridge it? I don't think these would do anything more then 600RMS?
please chime in on any other options for this setup and or needed parts to make this hook up successful.

That amp should work fine. That sub/enclosure setup has a single, 2-ohm load input. If you are set on using that particular sub/enclosure combo, just get am amp that is 2 ohm capable into a single channel, such as the Pioneer you listed. Avoid 2-channel amps for this particular setup, as most are not capable of both bridging into a single channel AND pushing a 2 ohm load. Another great amp for this setup would be the Alpine MRV-M500. https://www.amazon.com/Alpine-MRV-M5...rds=alpine+amp.
If you are using your OEM head unit, you will need to run a remote relay connection to your amp so that it turns on when your car's accessories are on and turns off when you turn your accessory ignition off. You can simply access a circuit on your fuse panel for any low wattage device that activates when you turn your ignition on and turns off when your ignition is off. Instead of splicing into the cable, make use of something like this:

Keep in mind, this is NOT the power connection to the amp, rather the remote turn on relay. You will still need power through a fused connection directly from the car's battery directly to the amp. There are plenty of kits. Here is a good one: https://www.amazon.com/NVX-Copper-In...ywords=nvx+kit
Other than that, you will need something that can take your OEM factory speaker level output and covert it to a low voltage line level (RCA) input to your amp. These are great:
https://www.amazon.com/AudioControl-...=audio+control
Another great thing about that AudioControl converter is that it has an auto sensing circuit that can perform the remote relay function for your amp as opposed to running a relay wire to an accessory circuit in your fuse panel.
Hope this helps.
