This is my first post and I just got a 2007 Lexus is 250 AWD with NAVI and the Mark Levinson System.

Can I swap out the ML system with a Later model that can do A2DP and gain a USB port?

Would it just hook up to the plugs that are already there or would I need to modify it some how would it even work?

Would I need just the ML portion with the CD Changer or do I need the whole Navi part too?

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question but you guys look like a great resource and know what you are doing here.

 

From what I've read, not from experience, you cannot switch out the system for a later model and gain a USB port etc. There are aftermarket solutions that will give you ports, ipod/android control, you can even install a new aftermarket head unit. I've got 2 USB ports, a new AUX and HDMI in my 2007 IS350 thanks to some hard work and forum research!
