Ok so here's my issue, I wired up a hideaway kicker powered subwoofer hoping for some extra bass. The problem is that the volume does not go up or down using my factory head unit volume control. I have to use the bass remote to control it. Basically the subwoofer still basses even when my music volume is off. I wired the the remote wire by splicing the grey wire. The R+ was the black wire R- was the white wire. L+ was the red and L- was the green. Did I do something wrong? With the subwoofer to max gain and max bass boost its still doesn't really hit.
