Default USB Music not recognized on 128GB stick

My 2014 LS will not recognize the music on a 128GB USB 3.0 stick. It will recognize the same MP3 files on a 1GB USB 2.0 stick.

The 128GB stick was formatted with a third party application as FAT32. The files show up on the PC.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I think you answered your own question. I do not believe your system is USB 3.0 compatible. I have also noticed that a lot of older systems are not compatible with sticks over 64 gig.

Thanks for the response.

USB 3.0 was not the problem. The problem was formatting in FAT32. The 1GB stick had no problem formatting in FAT32, but you can't format a stick over 32GB in FAT32 with Microsoft. You need a third party app. I used HPUSBDisk.exe to format the 128GB stick in FAT32. Worked like a charm.
