I would like to have navigation unit for my ES300. Do i have to purchase a "touch-screen" monitor in order to operate navigation?

 

You don't have to have a touch-screen to do it. In fact, the only one I know of that has it is the Kenwood. The others use remote controls or buttons around the screen to do the job. Some use voice recognition. Best bet is to find a store that you can see them in action and pick from the interface that suits you best.

Pioneer has a new model with touch screen (AVIC-80DVD). It would be worth looking at.
