Default headunit wires!?!?!

First off i would like to apologise for the terrible picture quality! I modified them to try to make it better for you see the colors. Now for my dilema. I have purchased a toyota amp integration wire harness that is supposed to fit my sc300 without any problem. However that is not true. I need to know which of the two wires I'm reading 12v from is the ignition turn on and which is the 12v power. I am getting a reading from the blue wire in the picture and the green wire in the picture ( both at left side near my finger). If anyone could tell me which is which that would solve a whole lot of problems. I havent had any kind of radio or cd player so im a little anxiouse to fix this today. thanx a lot. here is a picture...

Sorry, I can't definitively tell you which one is correct, however...

Find all the wires that have 12V on them without the key in the ignition, then find all the wires that have 12V when the key is in and turned to ACC. This (along with differences) hopefully will answer the question.

Sorry!

Tim

What year is your SC300? I have a 93' and I bought a Toyota wiring harness that pluged right in. I do know Toyota has 2 wiring harnesses split between model years. Anyway if you dont have any luck with that try this:

http://web.ukonline.co.uk/soarertt/

this site has the wiring diagrams for the SC. That will help you a lot.

oh, BTW I am 99% sure green is the ACC. the blue is probably always 12V.
