Question Eclipse HU

I just got my dyns and will install on Monday and thinking about changing the HU as well, I'm looking at Eclipse CD8053 16 Volt balance output deck. Could someone educate me on voltage issue, I see some decks with 2.7, 5, 8, 16v but what is that suppose to do? Does this help generate more power to the amp or better signal clarity? Any of you have this Eclipse deck or similar model?

Thanks guys,

The voltage that you're talking about creates a cleaner signal to your amps giving you overall better sound quality ,as for the particular model you have I've never heard of it but if it has 16vlts then that's real good coz I have only seen 2,4,and 5 vlts I'm currently runnig a Eclipse CD5423 with 5vlts preouts and I love the sound quality .

Thanks for clarifying tommie,

Today I install my dyns and it sounds awsome my installer had minor problem placing the tweeter but he did a great job.
I'm waiting for that Eclipse deck to be coming in couple of weeks and that time I'm also going to customize my trunk and it will contain 2 JL 10w6, JL 500/1 amp I really wanted to put 12w6 but might not have enough air space (I'm putting them where my spare is).
