Pretty sure my amp or head unit blew (can still hear nav lady but nothing else).


So, just going to pretty much gut the speakers and start from scratch.


This is what I want to do;

Get a head unit that will be tucked away (would love to use a remote for cleanliness)
And only use USB/Hard drive for music

Replace all speakers (get a set of good component speakers and fill in the rest and get 1 15'' sub).



With all that said......


What's a brand to go with components that are better than the ML I currently have?
What's a bran to fill in the rest worth using?
What's a solution for just using a USB hard drive or flash drive where I can control and see which song is playing via the stock nav screen?
