Question After-market Navigation System?

After months of debating, I have finally decided to replace my factory non-nav system with an after market nav system. I need your help in trying to find a nice system!!

I am trying to find a navigation system that has a very nice LCD, plays dvd's, cd's, and MP3, and has a decent turner. I would also prefer a system that will allow me to play a dvd without removing the nav. dvd. What would you recommend??

Right now, it seems as thought the best option is the Pioneer NAV-SYS900DVD, but this system does not allow you to play a dvd without removing the nav dvd.

Thanks for you help.

i'm getting the Alpine DVA-7996 which is just the reciever with a built in dvd/cd/cdrw/mp3 player. and i'm also buying an external flip up/out motorized Alpine TME-M790 which is a 7 inch screen. i believe its the biggest alpine has. Then connecting it to a Alpine NVE-N852A. i think that would be the ultimate setup. i already have all my MB quart speakers, subs and amps. so all i need now are the units. my current unit is an Eclipse which i'm planning to get rid of soon.

Total cost for these 3 units will be around

850~ for reciever
1000~ for screen
1500~ for navigation

I also might go with the cheaper route which is to get Any Alpine headunit and just buy the external DVD player for couple hundred
