Hey, everyone

I currently have a double din head unit by Pioneer. I did that write up for the SC300/400 to get it working with the OEM sub. The new amp and sub are Kenwood 12 inch, and a 350watt KAC-5204 power amplifier. Here are my questions that I hope someone can help me with as I'm sure they are simple ones.

1.) Will my OEM sub be working with my Kenwood and if so is this good or bad and should I disconnect it if so what is the best way?

2.) What is a good ground source in the SC300 for this specific set up?

I'm gonna be running double gauged 15 gauge wire from the battery to the fuse to the amp, and then basic speaker wire from the amp to the subwoofer.

EDIT: I got power to the amp and I'm just not getting any sound out of the subwoofer. Any ideas?
