Default radio questions

I have a 2001 LS430 with the Mark Levinson and nav options.
As I understand it there is a control head at the dash which has the cd/ changer attached. Then there is a tuner in the trunk on the passenger side and an amplifier in the trunk passenger side next to the spare tire.
My head tested good and the tuner is around $400 installed.
The cd changer works fine and the amplifier does too since it allows the cd changer to get as loud as we want.
For $400 I can get a nice aftermarket radio but would have to use an adapter to wire into the amplifier and speakers.
Any ideas?

You have asked this question multiple times on more than one forum and you have been given a wide range of options. Are you looking for a particular answer that agrees with what you already want to do?

I still don't know what I want to do.
I think I should stay with the original equipment since it is designed to work together.
I will keep reading the radio/ electronics posts on both forums and then decide what to do.
Thanks for answering.
