Default Parking Assist

Has anyone added the Intuitive Parking Assist to an LS430? Is it even possible?

The factory system couldn't be added easily or inexpensively. The parts involved would be front and rear bumper with sonar sensors, wire harnesses for each bumper and C17 clearance sonar ECU that goes into the left rear quarter panel (accessed thru trunk). You can check with your Lexus dealer for prices on these parts. Another option would be to add an aftermarket system like Poron's (www.poronusa.com) mini 3 system. Wiring to the reverse lights would be easy, but you would need another system for the front bumper and not sure you would want it ON all the time. The distance of the Poron system is greater (up to 6 or 7 ft) than the Lexus factory system and it won't be integrated into your dash or navigation system.
