Custom Cruise Control Relocation
I wanted to a share a cool modification I had recently done to my Supra by a local shop. I know it's not a Lexus, it's still a Toyota... I just recently upgraded to a TRD steering wheel. It's an awesome steering wheel but I had to sacrifice the cruise control. I didn't want to cut into an expensive steering wheel to retrofit a cruise lever.
I talked to one of the head electronic specialist guys at the shop and he suggested that he can relocate the cruise into the dash by using a button and a switch... He made a custom circuit board and connected everything. And this is what we came up with

The button on the right turns the cruise control on and off. A red LED appears on top of the switch to the left of it to show that the cruise is enabled.
The switch on the left is momentary. Press the switch down once sets the cruise control speed. Holding the switch up will accelerate the vehicle.
I assume that he can make it work for other vehicles as well. I think this is a must-have mod to have done if you want to keep your cruise control for those long drives.

nice... knew it was a possibility, never knew anyone that actually did it...
very simple wiring as well... its all there, you just need to figure out what the OEM stalk does when you press each individual button
