Default Alpine Digital Amps and Subs

Anyone have any feedback on the new alpine v12 amps, or type r subs.
I am looking to upgrade the system and am debating between the alpine and kicker amps. Just going to be running a single 10" so a mono amp will be fine.

hey Benny, I have a pair of 12" apline type R's in my car. It sounds pretty good. When i was getting it installed, we turned it up and this one guy said, "dang, what do you have in there? three 12's?" When i opened the trunk for him, he was suprised that it was only one hooked up. . I have the new type R's version 2. . they're pretty good and can handle 1000 watts each . .

rock? did you replace the 2ohm factory 10" or thrown your kicker in the trunk below the factory.
