Default TV tuners and such

Its a thought that I want to research to see if its a feasible option or not.

Well I have no TV at home and heh why not in the SC. I looked for tv tuners and such for a reasonable price and stumbled across a couple universal ones ranging between $150-$250. One is described to have 2 antennas for better reception bla bla bla (I think it was the Sirus SCV1).

I'm quite baffled with all this stuff. Anybody has experience with these things? Their going into my double din AVH P2300DVD with RCA tv input in the back so I guess these universal ones shouldnt be a problem. What's the best location for an antenna on the car? and are 2 antennas really needed? I usually drive on the highway. Are there "short" antennas that actually look attractive? are these antennas interchangeable? Finally, what is a good tuner for a reasonable price?

Any information would be appreciated. These things seem to have died out or something.
