Radio stop working i check the fuse and its not that any other ideas on what it could be ???

 

By stopped working what do you mean no sound or no power?

 

The ground could have been disconnected, or not grounded very well. I'd check that next i think.

 

no power, its the factory radio and cd changer and neither one are getting power, check wires behind radio nothing unplugged or loose, radio fuse not blown, any ideas what else it could be

 

Blown speaker? And the fault is causing the deck to shut off in protection..... take a multimeter to measure ohms of each speaker.

 

replaced all fuses checked speakers and all wires radio and cd changer still not getting power any other ideas of what it could be power mirrors also not working

 

short in one of those? usually things like that are integrated in fuses. did you check the relays under the hood for a clicking noise and corresponding control of mirrors and radio? also, did these incidents occur at the same time?

also when you say not getting power do you have power, ground, and switched power? if so which one of these is lacking 12 volts? (obviously besides the ground)?

i know this may sound funny but smell the radio for a burning smell.

also what ohm were all your speakers reading?
