Default Question for u sound guru's???

i got the regular system in my 00GS400, i want to keep the head unit stock, but i wanna increase the sound(clear, w/bass).
what kind of speakers do u guys think I need to get, and what kind of amp?
From my previous car, I have a pheonix gold XS2300(amp), and 1 12' kicker,i dont want to spend to much money, ONLY if its really worth it, please give me some advice?

How easy is it to replace the stock head unit with an aftermarket?

well what kind of sound are you looking for Loud bass or just above stock.

THis is a great low cost option getting a kicker free air ten to replace the stock ten in the rear deck and using your old amp to power it and selling your other speaker on cl or ebay. and use your stock head unit no problem.
