Default Can a low pass converter be connected @ rear speakers

I was thinking about trying this rather than taking the dash apart. This will be fairly temporary because I'm installing an in dash DVD player in the spring. This is an 05 es330. Or should I get off my butt and do it the right way

Cool

If it doesn't have a premium system with a sub, hooking up to the rear speakers will yield a signal that will feed a sub amp. No sense taking apart the dash if not necessary, mang.
