i was either looking at JL Audio 300/4 and a 300/2 compared to (in terms of watts) PPI PCX series amps..

does anyone know which is better? or when it comes to these amps is it more preference? thanks!!

what are the specs to compare? THD, S/N, RMS power, 2ohm stable....?

PPI makes great amp, I used them for years. The Power Class series are the best, the PCX is the cheaper version, but it works well also. PPI usually under rated their amp. PPI amps can put out some serious power over the factory specs.
