JL 10w7 + amp combo
I can get (what I believe to be) a good deal on JL10W7 subs ($350 each). Do you guys think it will be a good idea to mount these in the rear deck or would I be better of getting a custom box? Where would I get less vibration.
Also looking at the Orion HCCA 275 G4 amp. Would this be ok for these two subs or do I need more/less. Also considering Phoenix Gold.

Very nice. Just what I like. I don't want to go big on a system but want good quality. I'm more of a performance guy. What are the two PG amps that you have (model #'s)? Also, I assume one of those amps is for your speakers inside. What did you go with for the interior speaker exchange. What kind of box is this you have? Once again, very nice setup
I THINK YOU SHOULD GO WITH A CUSTOM BOX FOR THE JL'S. THOSE TYPES OF SPEAKERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FREE AIR. RECOMMENDATION ON A AMP LOOK INTO ZAPCO. I SAW A SETUP THIS PAST WEEKEND BUT THE GUY HAD ONE TWELVE IN. SUB AND A ZAPCO AMP AND OHH MY GOD THAT BASS WAS THUMPING. ANYONE JUST MY TWO CENTS. GOOD LUCK. PEACE

mariusz - the PG amps are a 600.2 for the sub and a 500.4 for the mids and highs. I went with the JL Audio XR series, I have had them in 3 of my cars and always liked them. The box is a sealed box.
