Could someone tell what after market speakers will fit a 92 sc400 and if I can keep the OEM tweeters

ditch the factory tweeters. You can fit up to 6.5, even though the stocks are 4"

I have 1" tweeters in the stock position, so anything that size or smaller will work.

 

Thanks for the info. I'm not really concerned with the tweeters so much. Do you have any brands or models you recommend for the mids? I replaced the head with a pioneer double din the rear deck with Focal I have a JL 12 in the trunk with an Alpine amp.

Can't go wrong with Focals in the front. Which ones do you have in the rear? Which alpine amp?

I have the Focal 165 CVX and the Alpine PDX-5.

 

Focal 165V2 (or whatever the current higher polyglass model is) in the front

I ran that same setup for quite awhile before getting my K2P 3 ways
