Hello Everyone. Just another question I thought I'd pose. Just wondering if anyone has a remote start system and what the cost of it was + installation. Been looking for some figures. I own a 1993 SC 400. Thanks.

 

I see advertisements from $250 and Up. I am having mine installed on wednesday and it will cost $350.

I think the extra $100 is because I own a Lexus

Well, some of the extra is because your car requires an ignition module to trick the key sensor, for Viper/DEI it is a 555u. I normally charge $250 installed for that alarm.

Alarm - 553t

Bypass- 555u

 

Not to doubt that is true.... Many newer ones I agree.... But I didn't need a thing to install the Viper 550 in my 1992. Other vehicles I used those parts.

Stand corrected! Sorry, I am too used to assuming I'm posting on the GS3/4/430 board, my bad. The early models need no additional parts.
